Beautiful spaces for whānau and friends

Our lounges are special places where you can take time to cherish memories of your loved one. We have two venue options at Purewa – our St John’s Lounge, and our Lounge of Remembrance.

 

St John’s Lounge

This space can accommodate up to 150 people inside, with undercover patio space for a further 100 people. Automatic ceiling louvres can be opened in fine weather and closed when wet, and a beautiful floor-to-ceiling glass wall overlooks green and leafy Fancourt Reserve. The lounge also has under-floor heating, a full-service catering kitchen and spacious, comfortable bathroom amenities.

Lounge of Remembrance

 

Located in Purewa’s park-like grounds, this space can host up to 100 people and has an outdoor area, sheltered by umbrellas if necessary. The Lounge of Remembrance is also fully equipped and offers catering services.
